TAQUILE KIDS // LOS NIÑOS DE TAQUILE

La isla de Taquile esta ubicada en el lago Titicaca que es el lago más alto y navegable del mundo, en la provincia de Puno, al sureste del Peru.
Taquile es una comunidad ancestral, orgullosos de sus antepasados, de sus creencias y modo de vivir, rodeados de un
lago sagrado, protegidos por la Pachamama que todo les da, de una herencia textil única,
hablan quechua por que así pueden comunicarse con la naturaleza y con Dios.
Visitar esta isla fue una de las mejores experiencias de viaje que tenido en mi vida. Una isla que simboliza EL PADRE SOL,
(hay otra isla Amantani que simboliza la Madre Luna) en medio de la nada con vista hacia Bolivia
con los cielos mas bellos que jamás he visto en mi vida, donde el azul del agua se toca con otro azul delcielo soleadoy sus nubes que parecen puestas
con inmensos algodones. En esta isla no hay ningún medio de transporte ni animal, ni urbano, ya que su extensión territorial es tan pequeña que todas las distancias
se hacen a pie (su extensión es de 5.5 kms de largo x 1.5 de largo)
Además de gozar de sus paisajes que son como salidos de un cuento, compartir algunas experiencias
y modos de vida, no pude evitar sentir esa ternura inexplicable que en general cualquier
niño del mundo despierta, sin embargo estos rostros, estas caritas me hicieron sentir algo nuevo, diferente y muy especial.

Taquile Island is located on Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world, in the province of Puno, southeastern Peru.
Taquile is an ancestral community, proud of their ancestors, their beliefs and way of life, surrounded by a
sacred lake, protected by the Pachamama all gives them a unique textile heritage,
that speak Quechua so they can communicate with nature and with God.
Visiting this island was one of the best travel experiences that I had in my life. An island that symbolizes the Sun Father,
(there is another island, Amantani that represents Mother Moon) in the middle of nowhere with a view to Bolivia
with the most beautiful skies I’ve ever seen in my life, where the blue water plays with a blue sunny sky and clouds that look that are made and
place with huge cotton.
On this island there is no means of transportation or animal, or urban, as its land area is so small that all distances
are on foot (its length is 5.5 km long x 1.5 long)
Besides enjoying the landscapes that are like straight out of a story, share some experiences
and ways of life, I could not help but feel that tenderness generally unexplained any
child in the world wakes up, but these faces, these faces made me feel something new, different and very special.
